The new facility will form part of the new Atom Valley project, one of six growth locations in Greater Manchester focused on science, tech and advanced manufacturing. The new Sustainable Materials and Manufacturing Centre (SMMC) proposal would have 2,724 metre squared net floor area and will include laboratory space, workshops, metrology space, design and analysis studios.
