Pivoting away from commercial offices towards advanced manufacturing and science, the 60-acre project has given itself a new moniker: MIX Manchester. The site will focus on laboratories, R&D facilities, manufacturing spaces and offices. Hotels and leisure venues will also be included in the development, with masterplanning for the project by Sheppard Robson.
