Galliford Try will be principal contractor for the first phase of the council and developer Cityhearts plans to construct a 90,000 sq ft market hall, 464 homes, and 10,000 sq ft of commercial space in Wigan town centre. Modernising Wigan's historic market is a key part of the scheme.
