Global online retailer Amazon has confirmed that it is the owner occupier of a 55.8 acre site at SEGROs SLP Northampton scheme in the East Midlands which it will develop to provide a new 2.86 million sq ft customer fulfilment centre. The company confirm its intentions to build the next generation fulfilment centre featuring three floors of robotics where products will be stowed and customer orders picked using advanced technology.
