DC01UKs planning application for a new state-of-the-art data centre was approved on 23 January by Hertsmere Borough Councils planning committee.
The new facility received the green light one week after the Government launched its AI Opportunities Action Plan. The data centre will provide 2 million sq ft of space and be Europe's largest cloud and AI data centre.
