A proposed data centre for Cambois, near Blyth in Northumberland, has been granted planning permission. The application submitted by QTS, a Blackstone-owned digital infrastructure leader in designing, building and operating sustainable data centres, sought the creation of a data centre campus of up to 540,000 msq with associated works and structures.
