The British Property Federation (BPF) has called on the next government to set a bold target of 30,000 new build-to-rent homes a year to relieve pressures on the rental market. There are now 100,000 BtR homes in the UK with 160,000 in the pipeline but the BPF says more are needed to meet demand.
