McAleer & Rushe appointed for Tottenham student scheme

The Printworks project includes the restoration of a listed building

5 November 2025

McAleer & Rushe has been appointed to deliver a new purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) development on Tottenham High Road, combining new construction with the restoration of listed buildings.

The project, known as The Printworks, will deliver approximately 287 student rooms at 807 and 819–829 High Road, including 11 units within restored historic buildings and the remainder in a new-build block to the rear of the site.

The development is being led by High Road West (Tottenham) Limited. Plans include indoor and outdoor amenity space, landscaped gardens, and shared communal areas designed to support student wellbeing and social engagement.

The scheme retains and restores the street-facing listed buildings, preserving their architectural character while integrating them into the new development. The restoration forms part of broader regeneration activity along Tottenham High Road.

McAleer & Rushe is delivering the project as part of its growing portfolio of student housing and mixed-use schemes across the UK.

No construction timeline or estimated completion date has been disclosed.
