New £30m mid-tech workspace scheme for Cambridge

Fiera Real Estate and Wrenbridge have launched a £30 million gross development value mid-tech scheme in central Cambridge, following the completion of a 150-year lease agreement with Cambridge City Council.


Known as The Row, the development comprises two units totalling 67,000 sq ft and is aimed at science, research and development, and technology occupiers. Planning consent has been secured, and construction is already underway, with completion targeted for August 2026.


The scheme has been designed to meet rising demand for sustainable and high-specification workspace within the UK Innovation Corridor. It will offer flexible, future-ready accommodation and is targeting top-tier environmental and digital standards, including EPC A*, BREEAM Outstanding, and WiredScore Platinum certifications.


The Row was acquired in August 2023 through the Fiera Real Estate Logistics Development Fund.

Harry Gibson, Director at Wrenbridge, said: “This project represents the next evolution of Cambridge’s mid-tech market – high-specification, sustainable, and designed for the growing occupier demand we’re seeing as the sector continues to mature.”
