Benniman appointed for final phase of Indurent Park Longbridge West

20 January 2026

Benniman has been appointed to deliver the final phase of Indurent Park Longbridge West in Birmingham, a project that will transform the former MG Rover car plant into 380,000 sq ft of modern industrial and logistics space.

Developer Indurent, which owns and operates sites across the UK, has selected Benniman to construct 13 new units ranging from 11,791 to 114,255 sq ft. The flexible spaces will support a range of uses including advanced manufacturing, logistics and distribution.

Designed with sustainability in mind, the development is targeting BREEAM ‘Excellent’ and EPC A or A+ ratings. The scheme will also connect with River Rea valley’s walking and cycling routes, enhancing active travel access to Birmingham and the wider West Midlands.

Paul Barfoot, director at Benniman, said: “We’re delighted to be delivering the final phase of Indurent Park Longbridge West. Having built a strong working relationship with Indurent across multiple developments, we’re looking forward to delivering another high-quality scheme that will serve the region for years to come.”

The appointment continues Benniman and Indurent’s successful partnership, which includes projects at Indurent Park Gloucester and Indurent Park Lichfield. Across the three sites, the companies are delivering more than 1 million sq ft of new industrial space.
