Planning secured for 200,000 sq ft Axis Park Milton Keynes

12 November 2025

Chancerygate and CBRE Investment Management have received planning consent to develop a 200,000 sq ft Grade A urban logistics scheme in Milton Keynes. The project, named Axis Park, will be delivered speculatively on a 10.6-acre site at Blackhill Drive in the Wolverton Mill employment area.

The development will comprise eight units ranging in size from 6,100 sq ft to 67,700 sq ft, available on a leasehold basis. Construction is due to begin in November, with the first occupiers expected to take possession in the third quarter of 2026.

Axis Park is situated four miles north of Milton Keynes city centre, with strong connectivity to the A5 and M1. Nearby occupiers include CTDI, Aston Martin, API Technologies, and Funrise International.

All units will be built to high sustainability standards, targeting BREEAM Outstanding and EPC A+ ratings. Features will include solar energy systems, electric vehicle charging points, and high-performance materials to reduce carbon emissions.

George Dickens, senior development director at Chancerygate, said the project would address strong regional demand for quality logistics space. “Our development will meet this demand and provide a thriving long-term economic asset for the area which we estimate could create hundreds of jobs,” he said.

Tom James, Head of UK Transactions at CBRE IM, added: “This project represents a strategic investment into multi-let urban logistics in a high-demand, well-connected area, offering modern, sustainable space that aligns with our commitment to deliver long-term value creation for our investors.”

Cushman & Wakefield and Louch Shacklock are acting as agents for the scheme.
