New cutting-edge office space for Leeds

Town Centre Securities (TCS) unveils plans for a sustainable Leeds office building.

Town Centre Securities (TCS) has unveiled plans for a new riverside office building in Leeds. The 11-storey building will deliver a modern workspace with ‘exceptional’ sustainability credentials and ‘distinctive’ architecture.


The proposed building at Whitehall Riverside, known as ‘Z’ is accompanied by new branding and TCS claims that it will be: “Designed for ambitious, connected businesses, it will offer the most technologically advanced and experience-led office space in the city.”


The Z building will provide a range of office spaces from fully-fitted suites to agile co—working spaces. Flexible leasing and multiple fit-out options aim to make the offering as flexible as possible. Target sustainability credentials for the building include BREEAM Outstanding, Nabers 5*, WiredScore and SmartScore Platinum.


The building will include a café, restaurant, fitness centre and other occupier amenities. The exterior landscape will also include a unique rain garden.


The Whitehall Riverside area of Leeds has a masterplan that includes the addition of 500 residential units, a new hotel and a multi-storey carpark. This is in addition to existing hotel and residential buildings along the riverside.


TCS, a leading UK property investment and car parking operator has assets of over £290 million They company has owned the Whitehall Riverside site for many years and has worked with Leeds City Council to bring forward the initial phases of No 1. Whitehall Riverside offices, Whitehall Waterfront residential,  and the Premier Inn hotel which was completed in 2017.
